Gardner Glass and Glazing’s executive team has a remarkable combined 90 plus years of experience in the curtain wall and commercial glazing industry. As the prominent façade in commercial construction, the work of this executive team is on display throughout the southeast and beyond, comprised of some of the most identifiable buildings in these markets since 1979.
President Randy, founder of Gardner Glass and Glazing, is a specialist in commercial project management with over 30 years experience in the industry. Randy began his career in the capacity of system design and engineering. Randy achieved success as a leader in the industry through the management and erection of some of the southeast’s most notable projects. For buildings ranging from 2 stories to over 60 stories, from major renovations to skyline defining high-rises, Randy has sought a level of excellence which has attracted an outstanding team in the field and project operations, preconstruction assessment, as well as the industry leaders in general contracting and construction management teams.
Vice President, Sales & Preconstruction Scott brings a vast level of commercial construction experience to Gardner Glass and Glazing, which began more than 20 years ago in the Marshall Islands of the Pacific Ocean as a draftsman. As a Project Engineer in Cairo, Egypt, Scott began his career in project management which would eventually bring him back to the United States, where he worked as a general contractor, before joining forces with Gardner Glass and Glazing in 2004. Scott successfully project managed the installation of over 250,000 square feet of glass and glazing systems with Gardner before taking on the role of Vice President, Sales & Preconstruction, where he is now responsible for all estimating, bidding, and project assessment.
Vice President, Field Operations Gardner Glass and Glazing is responsible for the installation of nearly 1.75 million square feet of glass and as the Vice President of Field Operations, Bill has been at the helm of field organization and management for the completion of every installation. Bill brings a level of commitment that runs deep in the staff of superintendents, foremen, and technicians and has earned the company an outstanding reputation in project safety and quality since 2001. Bill draws from his 28 years in the industry to train and work closely with each Project Team of Superintendents and Project Managers to ensure proper assembly and successful performance of our systems and glass installation.
LEED Accredited Professional After attending the University of Georgia, Matt joined the team in 2005. Matt has been a LEED Accredited Professional since 2006 and as a member of the Project Management team has contributed to the certification of all Gardner Glass and Glazing’s LEED recognized projects. Shortly following his United States Green Building Council accreditation Matt earned the Outstanding Subcontractor Performance Award from Turner Construction in 2006. Matt continues to serve as a Project Manager where he has been involved in some of the company’s most recognized projects.
Operations Manager Joining us from the residential construction industry, Brian is responsible for operating procedures and efficiencies. Brian’s experience as Operations Manager with one of the nation’s top 40 residential builders has allowed Gardner Glass and Glazing to focus on consistency and communication between project and field operations. After attending Western Carolina University, Brian spent 8 years in production oriented residential construction where he earned the opportunity to oversee homebuilding practices for six southeastern regions consisting of more than 3,000 units per year and 250M in revenue. Brian joined Gardner Glass and Glazing in 2009 as the most recent member of the team.
